I’ve set my Pixel 9a to dark mode (easier on the eyes and supposedly easier on battery span.)

Phone App Concern/Question

I’m red/green color blind. I’m not the only one who falls into this category and I’m certain not the only one who has a hard time seeing the text.

The search text color is red and very dim.

I’d love to see this changed to white text and/or have the ability for it to be user changed.

Who do we need to reach out to request a feature change?

Text App: Fossify SMS/messages

Is there an addon to be able to have all of/any of the following?

  • Autocorrect?
  • Autosuggest for frequent/high use words?
  • Ability to send .gifs/animated responses? (As I type this I’m wondering if .gifs are tagged and present a security risk which is why these may not be wise to send?)

Take a look at the Fossify Phone app from F-droid, there you can change all kind of color settings.

Brilliant. I thought the resident app was Fossify. This change seems to be a good choice.
