Murena Fairphone 4 with OS 2.5 (A13) and Oct 2024 Sec patches, is it safe to flash now, or wait?

So I thought I would post an update to this, for anyone else.

I successfully flashed the latest iode build from here (FP4 · master · ota / release · GitLab) using the iode GitLab doc. It worked with only a small “questionable moment”… more like a long pause (in which I pulled the cable and floundered for a few seconds.) But I ran through it a second time, with no issues.

I then flashed back to the e/os with this “Install /e/OS on a Fairphone FP4 - “FP4”” document (which worked to perfection actually)

I then flashed back to iode again.

I only have two questions at the moment, and it’s based on this image and a link I found in the community. I was hoping someone might clarify it, so I can install my eSim and start using this OS.

I locked my bootloader back, but still get this, with a key ID I think. I found this article that said this was normal… FP4 Relocked bootloader Futur updates - #2 by AlphaElwedritsch

In 2024, is this still normal, and do iode Fairphones show this? If not, I’m really just more curious as to the details on why/why not.

Thank you!
