Hello,

I would like to request a build for a Motorola G Stylus 5G 2024 (Boston). There is an XDA Unofficial Lineage OS build that I linked and another custom ROM created. Thank you!

Sources and a manifest are available for the unofficial LineageOS build, so an iodéOS build should be straightforward. The unofficial LineageOS build is pretty new though.

Is it too new or just not tested enough for problems? I use a pixel 7 pro for iode currently. Just really want to try a Motorola with iode :slight_smile:

Since I build the other unofficial moto builds of this era, I can give a try.

I actually haven’t built from non-official lineage sources yet, so I will have to review how to have our build process do this, but it should hopefully be fairly straight forward as @petefoth mentions.

BTW: this is a nice find as they have 8GB RAM models available and still have a headphone jack. Moto G (2024)'s weakness is 4GB RAM. Moto Edge (2024) has 8GB RAM and they are nice but more expensive, no headphone jack.

@rik I get the phone today, funny enough I ordered the 8/256GB model through Amazon so this will be a fun test when it happens. This model also has expandable storage!

Two things f your building with the docker iamge:

  1. Put the manifest linked from the XDA Post in /srv/local_manifests
  2. set "INCLUDE_PROPRIETARY=false"

Then the build should ‘just work’ ™
