Hallo zusammen, das SHIFTphone 8 wird höchstwarscheinlich die nächsten Wochen ausgeliefert. Sehr gerne hätte ich da natürlich IodeOS oben. 😇 Ist da etwas bekannt “ob und wann” IodeOS zur Verfügung stehen wird? Danke… VG Sandy ---

Beim LOS soll ja mind. die Nightly-Version schon fertig sein… GSI…? Ja, wäre sicher eine brauchbare temporäre Lösung. Hoffe die verlinkte Anleitung zur Installation kommt bald. 😆 ShiftOS-L gibts ja auch noch nicht…das wäre aber nur die 3-Wahl… ---

No, no comments. I haven’t received my Shiftphone 8 yet. But wanted to switch to iode OS as soon as I got it. ---

585,-€ für ein Android 14 Gerät dass immer noch in Pre-Order ist und bereits seit September 2024 ausgeliefert werden soll… 😂 🤣 Da muss man wirklich entspannt sein im Leben und an das Gute auf der Welt glauben ---

Please excuse @ronnz98 ,but this installation instructions cannot work. In the second point of “Install …” is it called " 2. Confirm that extracted directory contains following content: bin-linux-x86 directory - which contains linux tools including fastboot and adb bin-msys directory - which contains Windows tools including fastboot and adb .img files - The .img files that are to be flashed onto the device. flash\_otter\_factory.sh - The installer script. " I found none of these files in the “Iode-6.1-20250308-otter.zip”. There is no flash\_otter\_factory.sh Installerskript. ---

Take the one from the /e/OS-ROM. You might try to first install /e/OS and then dirty flash iode ROM I don’t own the device so I can’t help much ---
