Iodé app locked

I’ve locked the iodé app for unknown security reasons, with a simple pw that I’d not forget, but as it so has happened :roll_eyes: I now can’t crack the code to unlock that app :unamused_face::left_facing_fist:

I’d like to know, is there a way to easily reset that pw ? without doing a full factory resent.

Possibly via: Delete “Storage and Cache” of the app under: Settings, Apps, Search all apps there for iodé.

Sorry but a factory reset will be required. I checked on this a few weeks back for another person and got that confirmation from our lead developer. If it was as simple as clearing storage then it would be able to be circumvented too easily.

In the future, there are plans to overhaul the “parental control” section that would use a second device as the “parental control” tool, where a password could be reset. But this is still in discussion and planning, it may be some time.
