Thank, that’s what I did if I remember well but without success.
But I’ll try again following rik’s and yours advice.
Another variation if getting them to pass through isn’t working would be to add the Contacts App to Shelter (not sure if you use Nextcloud or other with DAVx5 to sync your contacts… in that case add DAVx5 to Shelter too). I prefer this personally instead of having the Shelter profile access contacts on my main profile. But then again you need a sync feature or instead manually maintain contact modifications separately in both profiles.
I do use an app to synch the contacts but I’m not sure if the synchronization works how it should in both ways. I used it 1 year ago to restore my contacts after my phone got stolen and it worked great. Almost all contacts were there but not all of them. I might try with davx5 and proton drive to store them. I have to check if it works.
