For me I prefer the geustures so I don’t see any nav bar icons ![]()
But to customizing them, I think this may require a custom launcher (?) instead of the LineageOS / iodéOS default of Trebuchet?
i use Nova launcher, but the default iode nav bar icons remains,
and there isn’t option in Nova’s settings.
there’re few articles about this in internet but they’re a decade old,
not sure how outdated, or any more-effective method.
thanks for replying though ![]()
I wonder if it has to do with it not being the launcher per se but instead related to the app switcher? Or more exactly the recent apps part of the launcher. With several launchers you need to keep Trebuchet installed, for example, or else you have an empty list when viewing recent apps, etc.? Sorry I haven’t tinkered on launchers in a while but have this memory when testing some. I would disable Trebuchet and then have no recent apps. Let’s see if others can give a bit more insight.

looks like i cannot disable Trebuchet though ![]()
(having Nova launcher as default already)
It seems that Nova users also can’t easily change those icons? https://www.reddit.com/r/NovaLauncher/comments/10l3r3h/3_buttons_navigation_bar_how_to_invert/
There is a link there to some possibly shady app that may be able to do it, but not sure I would be too eager to try it. Possibly need to check in with Nova for advice?
thanks very much for checking ![]()
although that’s a different situation,
he was asking to swap locations of the buttons
(normal androids have Back button on Left; Samsung weirdly change it to Right by default),
in iode v7.7, that would be under following setting:
Farther down in the thread:
Download GOOD LOCK than NAV STAR, there you can change the directions of your icon and the icon image itself any way you like.
thanks!
just checked it, error message “there is a problem connecting to your Samsung account”,
probably only works on One UI.
