I was already using Thunderbird on my desktop, and was pleased to see how easy the transition was. I like the interface even more than desktop. Great choice for the new client! ---

Très bonne nouvelle, je l’utilise deja, c’est du K9-Mail boosté Very good news, I already use it, it’s a boosted K9-Mail ---

But there are changes in K9-Mail which are only there because of it becoming Thunderbird mobile: the developer(s?) of K-9 did not have the resources to make these changes on their own - they are only possible because of the involvement of (takeover by?) the Thinderbird team. So yes it _ **is** _ a boost to K-9 ---

Is there a benefit for switching from K-9 to Thunderbird at this point? I imagine I’m the long term, K-9 will be phased out as a result… ---

Only that if you switch now, you won’t have to do it in the future when / if K-9 is phased out. ---
