eSIM activation not possible // SIM-Manager problems

Hello everyone,

I have signed a contract with Klarmobil (Vodafone) and would like to activate the eSIM.
Unfortunately, I get an error code when reading and manually entering the QR code/information.

iodé version: 7 (Android 16)
Smartphone: Fairphone 5
SIM Manager: OpenEUICC v1.4.0-iode.2

The SIM manager OpenEUICC has been updated to version OpenEUICC v1.4.0-iode.3.

Either the new version has fixed the problem or the “optional” confirmation code is not as optional as it seems.

The problem has been solved — I was able to activate the eSIM completely.

Sorry I don’t have experience with eSIMs, but I do see occasional posts about a user having trouble registering a new one. I think these have all been resolved meaning I don’t think there is an OpenEUICC issue, but sometimes a problem with how to use it etc.
