Cant re-install F-Droid

Hoi,

updated to version 7, everything went well. Before the update, i removed the F-Droid store (used a different version). Now i would like to use the pre-installed one. However, after installing it (tried a couple of times), the app never appears in my app drawer. It shows as installed (pre-installed settings), but i can’t find it anywhere. When i try to install the store via the apk, it shows as incompatible ‘update‘.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Did you reboot? This always fixed problems with re-installing pre-installed apps for me, I think it also tells you at one point when you modify Settings > Apps > Preinstalled apps.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, tried rebooting multiple times. Even delete and reinstall. Doesn’t fix the issue.

Edit: tried it today again, and it worked.
