Honestly the Fairphone 5 has been a raging bin fire so this isn’t exactly the only issue. Anyway, very weirdly, Aurora store is now working perfectly for me now. All I did was: - Upgrade to Iode 6.5 - this seems to have let Aurora store install new apps at least but the upgrade screen still broken. - Then went to download history, went to each app I have still installed manually and updated it. - After every single app was manually updated, Aurora store now works. The check for update screen doesn’t keep spinning. 24h later I can see there are new updates available for apps and they install fine.
