Is anyone else experiencing low audio volume on video recordings on Fairphone 5, no matter if it’s on the default camera app or Open Camera? I have to crank up the speaker volume all the way up to hear anything.
I’ve experimented by reverting back to stock android and also done some comparisons with another phone, and the issue seems to be on Iode (or upstream on Lineage).

Interesting! I wonder how common this is and if I should go asking around somewhere in Lineage communities. The bug is making recording videos quite pointless so it would be great to have it fixed.
I think this is at the Lineage level, it is a bit frustrating. For me audio levels have issues when on speakerphone the loudest speaker output is much to low (on Pixel 6, 7 Pro, and 3a XL).
Right so it’s a wider issue, I see. I did further digging and found a corresponding issue report on Lineage gitlab. I’ll go and upvote it, perhaps @ekaras you could do that too? There are also other ones pointing to similar issues.
