Bonjour !

J’ai récemment installé iode-5.10-20250219-arm64\_ab.img sur mon vieux Blackview BV 4900 Pro (BV4900ProUS0007640, arm64 / MT6762V) et ai été _très_ impressionné par la facilité d’installation, d’usage, et la qualité générale de iodé. Donc, déjà : merci & bravo !

J’ai une petite liste de questions.

- Dois-je faire un post par question ? 😉
J’ai lu ces posts ([Migrate from previous rom](https://community.iode.tech/t/migrate-from-previous-rom/5052) , [Switch from LineageOS to Iode without data loss?](https://community.iode.tech/t/switch-from-lineageos-to-iode-without-data-loss/1771) et [Switching from LineageOS to iodéOS on an S5e - do I need to re-flash stock first?](https://community.iode.tech/t/switching-from-lineageos-to-iodeos-on-an-s5e-do-i-need-to-re-flash-stock-first/2603) ), est-ce toujours le cas qu’une migration nécessite la perte de données, ou tenter _via_ Seedvault est viable?

Merci infiniment!

I ran your post through Firefox translate, please forgive my sad state of being a (mostly) monolingual English speaker (besides some Amharic and Arabic). Yes lots of translation issues for Firefox but it can help get some understanding I hope.

Yes that is best if possible. Then we can know if a thread can be marked “solved”.

As noted, I used a translation tool. I see several posting questions in French or German with an English translation below. I don’t know how possible this would be for you. It would increase the chances for a reply if possible.

Sorry I am not certain, but the [GSI Wiki thread](https://community.iode.tech/t/editable-list-gsi-support) is probably where to look for more info.

Personally, I think if the base android version matches it should be fine, and I don’t think (??) it will require a `userdata` wipe, but do have a backup first, and be ready to do a full reset and install if you experience issues.

If I read [this post](https://community.iode.tech/t/editable-list-gsi-support/2919) carefully, only the gts4lv (SM-T725) is officially supported by idéOS, and since the SM-P610 runs on LineageOS, I am confident that iodOS will be well supported. However, what about SM-P613, for which LineageOS does not seem to bear?

Sorry I have _not_ read the GSI thread very closely at all. But if you can crawl around the internet and find an unofficial Lineage build **with sources** then it may be possible to make an unofficial iodéOS build, but no guarantees.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot, you’ve answered all of my questions, and some more 😉
